Shipping Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026 · Last updated: August 2, 2026

1. Handling Time

Sellers must add tracking within 72 hours of a sale (auction close or Buy Now purchase) — if tracking isn't added in time, the buyer is automatically refunded in full.

2. Packaging Requirements

Every card, at minimum, must be shipped in a penny sleeve and a rigid top-loader, inside a bubble mailer. Graded slabs must be packaged to prevent shifting and corner damage in transit.

3. Insurance & Signature Confirmation

Under $150 — optional. Sellers may add insurance/signature at their discretion, but it isn't required.

$150–$4,999 — required. Both insurance and signature confirmation must be purchased for the shipment.

$5,000+ — standard carrier insurance isn't sufficient (USPS caps out at $5,000 per package). These shipments require USPS Registered Mail or an approved third-party high-value insurer.

Unedited packing video is strongly encouraged for $150+ shipments as dispute evidence.

Who pays — the buyer's shipping cost, shown at checkout, already includes required insurance and signature confirmation for $150+ Items. Sellers don't pay for these out of pocket beyond what's already covered by that shipping charge.

Failed delivery attempts — if a carrier requires a signature and the buyer isn't available, the package is typically held for pickup or a redelivery is attempted per the carrier's own process; if it's eventually returned to the seller as undeliverable, that's not treated as a seller fault. Contact Elitra to work out reshipping (buyer pays any additional postage) or a refund, reviewed case-by-case.

4. Domestic Only (For Now)

International shipping is not currently supported. This may be revisited once the platform is further along.

5. Lost, Delayed & Damaged Packages

If a package shows no tracking movement for 10+ days, contact Elitra directly to look into it. For insured shipments, the seller is responsible for filing the carrier claim, and the buyer is made whole once it's resolved. Transit damage should be reported with photos within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to the buyer once delivery is confirmed by carrier tracking, subject to the dispute process outlined in the Terms of Service.
